Sunday
School Adult
Sunday School meets every Sunday morning at 10:00 am. There is always hot coffee before the class begins. Our
goal in adult Sunday School is to continue to grow and develop as
followers of Christ. Being in a Sunday School class gives us the
opportunity to study God. Discussion,
personal experiences and questions are encouraged, often giving those
who attend new insight into familiar and loved bible verses and learn
how it applies to our lives in the safe context of dialogue with others.
The Adult Sunday School
Class welcomes all visitors and new members to join them.
Women
of the church, friends and family members who come together on a monthly
basis to foster socialization and general good all around fun.
Activities usually include lunch and games of bingo played for
prizes that are brought by those attending.
Rides are always available for those who may have transportation
difficulties. Quilters A
Tuesday morning tradition, this group of City Heights women meet every
week to work on a group quilting project. They meet at 8:30 am every
Tuesday. Don't forget to bring your sack lunch. Pickle
Ball Pickle ball is a court game that is a combination of tennis, badminton and Ping-Pong. We play inside our Family Life Center, where we have 2 courts set up. It is a game that is enjoyed by our adults, is easy to learn, and provides good exercise. Don't worry that you don't know how to play, we would be glad to teach you when you come play with us.
